The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering companies which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency stated it is alarmed in regards to the large range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office dedicated to service the click here area on a daily basis. The services point created for intervention ordeals a higher inflow of possible beneficiaries, that makes it hard for your Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more methods to permit the servicing of all buyers and boost entry to Social Assistance sassa companies,” the agency said.
